Adinoyi Ojo Onukaba was born on march 9,1960 in Ihina, Okehi Local Government Council, Kogi State. He attented Lenon Memorial College, Okene (1973-1977), School of Basic Studies, Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin  (1978-1982), and the University of Ibadan (1979-1982) where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts. He spent his one year compulsory National Service at Radio Nigeria, Ikoyi, Lagos and then joined The guardian Newspaper as a pioneer reporter in 1983. It was while covering the aviation industary or the paper that he met and become friends with Atiku Abubakar in 1984. atiku was then a custom Area Administration at the Guardian on Sunday in 1988. He left a year later foe a Master in journalism Programme at New York University, New York, USA. In 1996, he earned a doctorate gegree in Performance Studies fromthe same University. He taught Mass Communication at the college o New Rochelle, New York and worked with the United Nation in New York (USA), Mogadishu (Somalia), and Baghdad (Iraq). He returned to the Country in May 1999 to serve as spokesman to Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Managing Director of the Daily Times of NIgeria Plc,abd Media Adviser to Vice President Abubakar. His publications include Born to Run, a biography of the assassinated journalist, Dele Giwa, which he co-authorer with Dele Olojede;In the Eyes of Time, a biography of Olusegun Obasanjo and The Mbuti, a profile of the pygmies of Ituri rain forest in the Congo. His plays-tower of Burden, A Resting Place and Her Majesty's Visit, have been performed in New York, Nairobi, Abuja and Lagos.
